about

"We wind a simple ring of iron with coils; we establish the connections to the generator, and with wonder and delight we note the effects of strange forces which we bring into play, which allow us to transform, to transmit and direct energy at will."
-Nikola Tesla

As an inspired scientist and entrepreneur, Nikola Tesla worked feverishly from his lab in Colorado Springs in the belief that energy could be transmitted wirelessly and provided to the public for free forever. After working under Thomas Edison to solve a problem for a promised sum of money, the idea was stolen and the money wasn't delivered as promised. Tesla struck out on his own and a significant rivalry with Edison emerged. In his hasty race to prove his brand of electricity superior, Edison electrocuted animals (including an elephant) to their death to prove the "danger" of Tesla's solution. It turned out that he couldn't kill animals with Tesla's alternating current, so he ended up using his own direct current solution to do the killing.

lyrics

The sky erupts
A light as bright as the sun
Unleash the power
This boundless energy
So long left dormant
Natural resonance

The future of our world
Is now secure
The only limitation:
Fear of progress

Pretenders to the throne
Unoriginal
Uninspired
Inefficiencies bred through human fear
Deride the genius
Then steal his concept
This hegemony
Is driven by greed

The future of our world
Is now secure
The only limitation:
Fear of progress

Thoughts and ideas
Subjugated
They were wasted away

The innocents
Tortured
Robbed of life
A demonstration:
Perversion
Demonstrating his own
Failed endeavor:
Commutator
A legacy stolen
And greatness unrealized
